THE PROGRAM
Tincher Pitching - Alabama, as well as Tincher Pitching as a whole, is based around the development of successful pitchers. Our program is designed for students with big goals and the work ethic to match so our focus is long-term development. We are dedicated to continually training and learning, so your athlete always has the best information available in order to sharpen her mechanics, develop strong moving pitches, and have a holistic training strategy that makes her a strong overall athlete, not just a strong pitcher.
ABBY TINCHER DAVIS
Abby Tincher Davis is originally from the Botetourt, Virginia area. After a very successful high school career, Abby began her D1 journey at Liberty University. As a pitcher, she was selected to the conference All-Freshman team and also led her team their first ever win over an SEC team (Arkansas), plus tallied wins against two very strong non-conference opponents that year, Virginia Tech and Marshall. After transferring to University of South Alabama, a hip stability issue began to emerge which led doctors to advise her to stop playing. Abby decided that her heart was still in softball in training the next generation of pitchers. She began her business in Mobile, AL, before moving to the Shoals area with her husband, Zach, where she now runs Tincher Pitching Alabama. She now trains well over 200 pitchers in North Alabama, with students regularly traveling in for lessons from 23 different states. Abby is also the Director of Development for Tincher Pitching. Her main responsibility within the organization is to study from some of the nation's best movement experts and design drills and strategies for Tincher Pitching's 90+ instructors and their thousands of students.
