TESTIMONIALS
WHAT STUDENTS SAY
Ryann Schexnayder
Current Pitcher at McNeese State University
"I started working with Abby when I was in the 8th grade. I had been pitching since I was 9 years old and through the years had developed some bad habits that were causing me to have a heavy drag foot and was also hitting my elbow against my hip to the point it was causing deep bruising and pain.
My parents had tried everything they knew to try to correct these issues but nothing worked. We heard through word of mouth about Tincher Pitching and found out Abby was giving lessons occasionally in Louisiana.
After the first lesson within the first 15 minutes of watching me pitch she had a plan to help fix my form issues and explained how all of the issues I was having were related. Abby gave me just a few easy drills to work on throughout the week and within just a few weeks I could feel and see a huge improvement.
I continued to take lessons from Abby whenever she came to Louisiana and now that she no longer comes to my area, I take lessons from her virtually. Each lesson is personalized and she always gives me something different to work on to help perfect my form and get the most out of my body.
Now I no longer hit my elbow and my drag foot is so much better. I am going on to pitch at the college level and I know that without Abby and Tincher Pitching program my pitching career would have most likely been cut short. Needless to say, I am very grateful for the opportunity to work with her. Thanks Abby!!"
Danya Bueno
Mother of Anah Bueno, 2027 RHP
"My daughter has been pitching for 3 years now. After Anah suffered a shoulder injury due to overuse/mechanical breakdown last summer I found Tincher pitching. When I contacted Abby I knew that's who I wanted for Anah!
It's been a tough 12 months of PT, throwing programs, strength/conditioning, lots of hard work and some ups & downs to get Anah back 100%. Abby told Anah that she was here for the long haul & I know without a shadow of a doubt that is a fact.
Abby is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, professional, detail oriented, caring & motivating. Anah sees her virtually. Lessons are jam packed with great content. You can tell how much her students mean to her! I can't recommend her & Tincher pitching enough! Abby Tincher Davis you have been a tremendous blessing to Anah & we can't wait to see where this goes!"
Matt Meadows
Father of Arabella Meadows, 2028 LHP
"Since meeting Abby I have seen steady growth in my child for nearly two years as a distance student. This has been more than 'pitching lessons' Abby has had Zoom classes for the mental approach to pitching and she has taught us to use and breakdown video ourselves.
Her approach has made this Arabella's journey, not a coach, or a system, or a parent. Once Arabella bought into the importance of personal accountability that Abby stresses to all of her students, we were all off and running.
We are beyond grateful for meeting Abby. We live over five hours away and my child has a personal connection with Abby that says a lot about her commitment to all of her girls."
